this is really good

good to hear your busting good tunes again. and to answer GAT-X3000 question, this style of music is very popular in england atm, so alot of it is coming out. i quite like it. it's a kind of electro / dub style, it's good.

CNB, what system you using now?

cornandbeans responds:

reason 3/fl studio 7

thanks for the review :)

pretty good

your best song is darkest shadow, none of your others come close. please make more like that,

ZeRo-BaSs responds:

:) Sure my next song has the same rock-ish feel.

Thank you!

lol funky

definately not jazz. i'd say samba!

Musical-Pants responds:

True, but I didn't see a Samba genre while submitting.
Thanks for the review!

Sephora responds:

Art is sometimes controversial, but this isn't in any way directed to be offensive. Still working on those beats?

a definate winner

if only i could concust perfect wax to perfect beats, whos vinyls are these? johnny pate, where can i get that?

YunVeroz responds:

$1 bargain bins at the record shop, if you're lucky. Ebay, if you're not

not bad

i think you need a faster and heavier snare to make the intensity it had at the start, and ditch the horn things???

Crunchyspikes responds:

what part r u talking about?!

I liked it

its nice to hear some one else on newgrounds with a darkstep kind of style. Your strings and backup sounds were awesome and suited the buildup perfectly. give me a listen i make darkstep / hardcore dnb style too, i'm favouriting you looking forward to new songs :D

Crunchyspikes responds:

thanks for the great review...
and you can also check out my myspace for more songs...

Great XD

You have real creativity and composition skillz that killz

Keep up the good work, i like the old school UK style snare, it gives it a different sound that still sounds right.

ZeRo-BaSs responds:

Thanks!

It was great

This song has real power and strength. The strings were thick and the bass, be it a vox bass, still sounded quite nice.

One thing i didn't like about it is your drums, you use the same snare and drum tune, i would recommend to change it abit, it is too predictable and falls upon deaf ears after a while.

8/4

(Listen to my DNB?) seke

PERVOK responds:

Naw, not a vox bass. Two detuned saw waves + flange with no feedback + distortion.

And about the drums; what do you expect? It's a program. I'm not going to take the time to go and open up a bunch of different similar but oh-so slightly different samples just to get that slightly different tone. If I wanted that, I'd play drums to my own tracks. Well, ok, that would be pretty sweet. But I don't have the time nor the means to do so. So hey, each to his own I guess.

Thanks for at least an 8.

It's not my favoured genre

but i really liked it! It was thick and creative and had some great backup sounds! The composition of this song is perfect and you haven't overdone anything or uner done anything either. The hipass on the hats were a good touch to the drums as well instead of the boring clicklclickclick most songs of this genre have. The horns and guitar also worked well together giving it a fast kind of rocky but still electro feeling to the song. Well done, not boring once!

My style of drum and bass may not be to your liking, but check it out have a listen, it's very heavy and bass orientated!

ZeRo-BaSs responds:

Yay Thank you!
